MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – One of the most popular mountain bike events is taking place this weekend.
Portions of lakeshore boulevard will be closed to traffic tomorrow morning for the Marji Gesick 50 mile mountain bike race.
Lakeshore boulevard will be shut down between east Washington street and east spring street, closures will go into effect from 6:00 am till 8:30 AM.
The race will travel down several other streets that won’t be closed, so motorists are asked to use caution in the area.
