ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – Two individuals were arrested on methamphetamine charges in Escanaba on Thursday.
At approximately 8:50 p.m., an Escanaba Public Safety Officer requested a canine unit to assist with a traffic stop. A positive canine alert resulted in two arrests and the recovery of roughly ten grams of methamphetamine, along with a small amount of cocaine. Follow-up investigation resulted in the discovery of an additional 20 grams of methamphetamine.
