ISHPEMING, Mich. (WZMQ) – The West End Health Foundation is now accepting applications for its fall grant cycles–offering two opportunities to strengthen the well-being of Marquette County’s West End communities.
The programmatic grant cycle supports health and wellness initiatives, with awards ranging from one to ten thousand dollars. Meanwhile, the proactive grant cycle focuses on food security, with forty thousand dollars set aside for eligible projects.
“If you have a program that is focusing particularly on food insecurity, for any ages, any residents of the western portion of Marquette County, to apply for our proactive grant cycle, and for that one, we’re giving out $40,000, and those grants can go up to $40,000,” said WEHF board member Kori Bjorne.
Applications are due by September 26th at noon and can be applied for through the foundation’s website, westendhf.org
