MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A final review has been made for the apartment complex project set to be built in place of the Marquette General Hospital’s staff parking lot. In works with Veridea Group and Integrated Architecture since March, the companies plan for 36-unit townhome complex in the vacant lot on Magnetic street.
On Tuesday evening, the Marquette City Planning Commission met to give a final review on the project, after city commission approved its proposed contract from earlier this summer.
“There were no noticeable changes from the final PUD approval,” said Marquette Planning Chair, Kevin Clegg.” We found that the contract that the city commission approved was unchanged, they met the 11 standards of site planning review, so we approved this new development.”
A start date for the project is unknown at this time.
