MANISTIQUE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A brand new exhibit opened on Friday at Lake Effect Community Arts Center on South Cedar Street.
Continuing the center’s trend of showcasing several artists at the same time, Ink and Clay features the work of nine local creators. The artists displaying their work are David Berg, Vicki Obee, Katherine Sirvio, Mona Posinoff, Jodie York, Ellie Gilbert, Linda Swan, Barb Stout, Teri Kunzelman.
The exhibit includes both printmaking and ceramics. Although each artist has a unique style, all of their pieces work together to make a cohesive display.
The artists will celebrate the opening of Ink and Clay with a public reception from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, August 29. The exhibit is free to view now through September 28 during business hours.
