MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Last week, a Marquette church held a school supply drive to help families get ready to head back to the classroom. They had enough supplies left over to give even more families a helping hand.
On Friday, August 29, Hope Church will be handing out pencils, crayons, notebooks, backpacks and other supplies free of charge. All items were purchased by church members looking for a way to support families in need.
The free school supplies will be available on a first-come, first-served basis from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will be located at Office 927 West Fair Avenue.
