ISHPEMING, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Ishpeming UP Home Health and Hospice is the recipient of the 2025 Hospice Honors Caps Award. Every year, the Hospice Foundation of America conducts a national survey to identify the top hospice service providers in the nation, and then they are recognized for the valuable work these services provide nationwide.
Home health and hospice provide services for those diagnosed with life-limiting illnesses. These services are meant to help manage the life-limiting illness, as well as provide care and support to the patient and the family.
The Ishpeming home health and hospice has received this award in years past for its home health department, and now the hospice department has been awarded as well.
“What we do, we’ve been around since 1973 so we really have this legacy of caring and these great clinical quality nurses, social workers, and physicians, so just to have our hospice line, our hospice program as well to be honored for this was just great news for us,” said Kori Bjorne, U.P. Home Health and Hospice Community Services Director.
If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness, reach out to the U.P. home health and hospice to learn about the services provided. More information can be found at the U.P. home health and hospice website.
