NEGUANEE, Mi. (WZMQ) – The Neguanee Historical Society Museum hosted the annual Pioneer Day Car Show and Ice Cream Social. This event showcases antique Model A Ford cars owned by Neguanee community members while enjoying some ice cream.
This car show is a community favorite of Pioneer Day, with families exploring the interior of the car and learning about the car’s history.
“Mine was my grandfather’s and he lived in Neguanee and he used to drive Iit to the mine to work all the time in the rail mine for Cleveland Cliffs ya I think especially with the museum the old cars fit right in there cause they go back that far” said Bob Saxwold, Car Owner.
To register to showcase your car at next year’s Pioneer Day Car Show or for more information on Pioneer Day, go to the Neguanee Township website.
