ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – A health restoration clinic out of Iron Mountain has expanded its operation to Escanaba.
The Wellness Way is now open for business at 915 Ludington Street. The clinic offers chiropractic services and testing for various health concerns.
“For food allergies, hormones, GI health, mold testing, lime testing, cancer stuff as well,” said Doctor of Chiropractic Laura Steber. “There’s a whole other realm that goes along with what we do here, not just chiropractic.”
Steber holds a master’s degree in nutrition and functional medicine. She says The Wellness Way provides additional pieces in the puzzle of healthcare than most traditional chiropractors.
“I’m going to be focusing and hoping to bring a lot more lifestyle changes down into this area, a lot of other nutritional things that we struggle to find,” Steber said, “especially when you’re having to deal with food allergies and you can’t eat gluten or you can’t have eggs. Kind of bringing in together a lot of the local business owners to do some of that to offer it to the public.”
