MVH D.J. Jacobetti holding Flag Day Pancake Breakfast

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – June 14 is Flag Day. To celebrate, Michigan Veteran Home D.J. Jacobetti is hosting its first community pancake breakfast fundraiser.

The breakfast will offer a grand amount of food, open to the public in from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Any donations are suggested, benefiting the veteran home’s Charitable Support Funds, which supports special outings and trips for local veterans, and makes for a great way to start the weekend.

“We all appreciate the amount of support we get from the community,” said Ron Oja, the administrator at D.J. Jacobetti. “I’m hoping for a good turnout, I mean, what better way to start your weekend than coming to have pancakes with us?”

Also available will be raffle tickets by The American Legion Post 44, greatly benefitting Michigan Veteran Home D.J. Jacobetti.

The breakfast will be held in the Jacobetti’s back parking lot, at the end of Fifth street.
