IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich. (WZMQ) – The 8th annual Brewfest is coming to Iron Mountain on June 14th, with 15 craft drink vendors including breweries, distilleries, and cideries from all over Michigan and even Northern Wisconsin.
New this year the Iron Mountain Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is partnering with a local hair and beard parlor to hold a beard and mustache competition during the festival.
Iron Mountain DDA Event Coordinator Kathrine Mentel said Brewfest is a great way to start the summer.
“People just love a way to get together at the beginning of the summer,” said Mentel. “We kind of call it our kick-off to summer and it’s a really fun event, it’s really unique to the area. We bring in vendors all the way from Zealand Michigan, and far downstate.”
Admission will be $40 with designated driver tickets available for $10. For more information about Brewfest check out Downtown Iron Mountain’s website.
