IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich. (WZMQ) – The downtown Iron Mountain farmers and artisans market will begin June seventh on the corner of A Street and Iron Mountain Street. The Market will include local produce, art and other goods from around 30 farmers and crafters from all over Dickinson County. The Iron Mountain Downtown Development Authority Event Coordinator Katherine Mentel said the market is a great way to support local businesses.
“The farmers market is a way to support local you’re supporting small business owners, and a lot of these vendors, this may not be what they do full time but it is their passion,” said Mentel. “So you’re not only supporting small business owners but you’re supporting their passions.”
The market will continue throughout the summer on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. central time until October 11th.
