MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – It was a night to remember and dance under the stars at Brook Ridge Heights Assisted Living.
The residents were treated to their own senior prom, complete with a live DJ, hors d’oeuvres, and, of course, dancing.
The prom is part of Brookridge’s Making Memories program that provides engaging activities for the residents throughout the year.
“It brings them back to their youth. It brings them back to their younger years, and those are really special moments. Our residents connect with that part and aspect of their life. Our residents have lived amazing lives. They have incredible stories. And when we do events like this, we’re able to pull some of that out.
In the past month’s the making memories program has celebrated events like the Kentucky Derby, Cinco de Mayo, and Valentine’s Day
