MARQUETTE, MI. (WZMQ) – The Peter White Public Library displays the High School Art Exhibit in the Doe exhibit. This exhibit started 12 years ago with just the Marquette High School; now, years later, it has grown to include Marquette, Negaunee, Ishpeming, and Gwinn High Schools.
Each year, the art teachers from every school select drawings, paintings, and sculptures that stand out in each project and present them at the end of the year. Students in grades 9th through 12th are provided with an opportunity to professionally display their work.
