MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Working remotely can be a lonely job. With no co-workers to talk to in person, sometimes it’s hard to meet people. Thursday night was a good chance for them to make new friends and network with each other. Superior Culture hosted a meet-up just for remote workers. More than a dozen of these solitary folks got together arriving as strangers but leaving as friends.
“Tonight, we have our third remote workers meetup. So it’s just to get together, a chance for people that work from home or work independently that are looking to connect with other people that do the same,” said event organizer, Amelia Stefanac.
