MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – NMU’s Forest Roberts Theatre is hosting the Peak 25 Conference, a two-day professional development conference focusing on breakthroughs in research, entrepreneurship, and collaboration. The conference features internationally recognized keynote speakers like Deborah Amato, who is an innovator in the aerospace industry. Other topics included are how to pitch an idea, outdoor innovation, networking skills, and design workshops. Moderator, Bill Digneit explains the concept.
“Endless Possibilities is the term that I love to use and peak 25 is all about that when you come here, there are no limits. It really is about dreaming, being inspired, and connecting, but we like to make sure that our innovation meets implementation so we want people to dream and have these great thoughts and big ideas,” explained Digneit.
