MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A man and woman in Marquette are facing drug charges as the result of an ongoing police investigation.
On Jan. 31, the Marquette Police Department executed a search warrant at a home on the 1300 block of Waldo St. The search warrant was issued as a result of an ongoing investigation into drug activity at the home.
During the search, police found the two suspects, a 48-year-old woman and 42-year-old man, along with methamphetamine and paraphernalia.
The man was charged with possession of methamphetamine 2nd or subsequent offense, a 20-year felony. The woman was charged with possession of methamphetamine, a 10-year felony.
Both were arrested, posted bond, and set for arraignment on Feb. 17. Their names will not be released until they are arraigned.
