RAPID RIVER, Mich. (WZMQ) – The 19th annual Rapid River Relic Ride weekend will look a bit different this year due to weather conditions.
The Rapid River Relic Ride consists of a snowmobile ride on Friday, followed by a snowmobile show on Saturday. According to a Relic Riders Facebook post, the ride can no longer take place as planned, as not enough snow has accumulated.
However, Relic Riders will still meet on Friday, January 24, for registration from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Donations for local food banks will be accepted during registration. Afterward, Relic Riders can enjoy lunch at the Rapid River Lions Club. The group will also host its annual bonfire later in the day.
The Saturday, January 25 show will still be held as planned. For more information on this weekend’s events, visit the Rapid River Relic Riders Facebook page.
