LANSING, Mich. (WZMQ) – With four days left until election day, Gwen Walz, the wife of Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz, took a break from campaigning in Pennsylvania to speak with WZMQ.
As both campaigns look forward to the last weekend of early voting before Election Day, Walz discussed her visit to the Upper Peninsula to spend time with rural voters, the campaign’s mission for education, and encouraged those who haven’t to get out and vote.
The Harris campaign is looking forward to an active week in Michigan. Governor Tim Walz is speaking in Detroit Friday night, and is scheduled to travel to Flint and Traverse City, and Vice President Kamala Harris is set to visit East Lansing on Sunday. The Trump campaign is also hosting a rally in Detroit Friday, and are set to return to Grand Rapids on Monday.
