The City of Houghton is excited to invite everyone to its annual Fall Fest, taking place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Houghton Waterfront Pier. This family-friendly event promises a delightful day packed with autumn-themed activities and seasonal treats.
Attendees can enjoy live music, a scenic tractor ride along the picturesque Portage waterfront, face painting, photo opportunities, and games for kids.
Children ages 0-12 will have the chance to pick out a free small pumpkin while supplies last, with pumpkins for all to purchase!
To warm up the chilly autumn day, coffee and cider will be sold, with all proceeds benefiting the Houghton Hockey Team. As Fall Fest is a city-wide celebration, attendees are encouraged to explore downtown Houghton and support local businesses throughout the event.
But, before Fall Fest kicks off, the Keweenaw Young Professionals will host their Color Run starting at 9:30 a.m., with registration open now.
