MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The new bakery Honey Baked Bread located on Marquette’s 3rd Street held its official ribbon cutting after holding its soft open on August 13th. All the goodies are gluten-free, soy-free, and dairy-free products that taste amazing no matter one’s dietary restrictions.
An Upper Peninsula mother started baking goods, that are safe for her and her son’s dietary restrictions out of her kitchen, as the public got word her small passion outgrew her kitchen. Now she is the owner of Honey Baked Bread and sharing these healthy and tasty treats with the Marquette community.
“Of course to make stuff taste good enough that someone who may not have to have gluten-free they keep coming back, spreading inclusivity making sure that everybody gets to have a cupcake at their birthday,” said Bailey Knight, Honey Baked Bread Owner.
The bakery is open Tuesday to Saturday From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is testing new treats every week, for more information go to the Honey Baked Bread Co. website.
