IRONWOOD, Mich. (WZMQ) – Copper Peak, the world’s largest artificial ski jump, is officially launching phase one of their $20 million renovation project.
They held a contract signing ceremony with ECI Construction on Tuesday with Michigan Senator Ed McBroom and State Representative Greg Markkanen in attendance. Funding was partly made possible through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
They still need more funding in order to complete the rest of the phases of the project.
