MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The 30th annual Outback Art Fair is coming to Shiras Park in Marquette on Saturday and Sunday.
This year’s festival will feature over 100 different vendors with a variety of arts and crafts, including hand crafted pottery, jewelry, textiles, and painting, and even items like locally made soaps and lotions.
“The Outback Art Fair is a testament to the incredible artistic talent we have in our community and beyond,” said event organizer Cindy Engle in a press release. “We are thrilled to celebrate our 30th year and look forward to another fantastic weekend of art, food, and fun.”
Engle also said the festival has been successful because of its variety, and because it’s a very relaxing environment.
“It’s a very comfortable park, it’s very enjoyable to come here and spend the day. We got great food vendors, great food options,” said Engle. “It’s just a real comfortable, enjoyable way to spend your weekend.”
The festival will be on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
