MUELLER TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZMQ) – A Wisconsin man is facing a number of drug charges after a traffic stop in Schoolcraft County earlier this month.
Michigan State Police arrested 38-year-old Daniel Likness of Thiensville, Wisconsin for operating while intoxicated and possession of illegal narcotics.
Troopers from the Manistique Outpost say Likness was pulled over on US-2 near Inland Quarry Rd. on July 12 around 9 p.m. An investigation determined Likness was under the influence and had a large amount of illegal drugs in his possession, including approximately 2.5 pounds of suspected methamphetamine.
Likness was lodged in the Schoolcraft County Jail and later arraigned in 93rd District Court.
