Tonight on What’s UP with Megan – Boaters: Listen up!
The South Shore Fishing Association has held its annual Veteran’s Fishing Day for ten years, offering a heartfelt tribute to the nation’s veterans by treating them to a memorable day of fishing on Lake Superior.
The event has always been popular, with over 100 veterans signing up. Except this year, there are not enough boat captains currently signed up to support the number of veterans who want to set sail on the big lake.
Boat captains – we need you. Please sign up to take a veteran or two out on the water. Not only will you enjoy a full day of casting with a veteran, but you will also join a spectacular boat parade at Mattson Lower Harbor Park, a free dinner the night before, a free lunch day of, and a $100 card from Krist Oil.
The South Shore Fishing Association Veteran’s Fishing Day is more than just a fishing trip; it’s a celebration of the bravery and dedication of the country’s servicemen and women. Help SSFA continue to uphold its tradition!
