MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum held its 2nd Thursday Creative Series with this month’s theme being Beach Party. This event is free to the community and offers food, live music, and activities every month.
This month, they offered balloon volleyball, limbo, making shellies and postcards, and ice cream donated by Culvers. This month’s was Mo the Snake’s birthday celebrating 13 years Mo and his other reptile friends joined the festivities.
“Being able to interact with the families because I see a lot of families throughout the week, but I don’t always get to see them every month, and Thursdays bring in so many more families because it’s after everybody is done at work,” Sarah Larson, Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum Floor Staff.
Next month’s 2nd Thursday Creative Series is August 8th for more information, go to the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum home page.
