MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Life Light organization is a non-profit that provides care to the community and hosts events free for the communities. Saturday was the 4th year this event took place in Marquette, but the festival has been happening for 5 years.
The Marquette Life Light City Festival offers multiple attractions from a petting zoo to live music, free food, and the organizer’s favorite part, the Stunt Dudes. Funding for the festival comes from local churches, businesses, and generous contributors.
“U.P. City Fest is a celebration of life and celebration of freedom being able to get out here and have some fun and have some good music. We just have something for everyone here,” said Matthew Songer, U.P. City Serve founder.
This festival is a celebration of life and freedom, organizers shared. For more information go to Life Light’s home page.
