MARQUETTE, Mich. – The United Way of Marquette County is thrilled to announce the Yoopers United Hockey jersey design contest.
This contest is in conjunction with the Marquette Hockey night where Yoopers United (local hockey talent) will face off against the Detroit Red Wings Alumni team on Sept.13.
“Your creativity and enthusiasm are truly appreciated as we embark on this exciting journey to showcase the spirit of our team through your design,” states Nickolas Boyle, Team Liaison.
The contest is open and more detail can be found on our Facebook page or by contacting Nickolas Boyle at nboyle@ft.newyorklife.com. Submissions deadline is May 31, 2024 and the winner will be chosen by a public vote in June. The winner of this contest will win their own official jersey!
This is a fun way to get the community involved in our event and play a more active role in how our community is represented during this event. We have some great artistic talent in our community and are excited to see what design ideas come out of it. For those that are not as artistic, stay tuned, in June the top submissions will be put to a community-wide vote to determine the final winner.
