What’s UP with Megan: Bike & Kayak Swap takes over Marquette’s Lakeview Arena this Saturday

Tonight on What’s UP with Megan, we are gearing up for summer at the 2024 Bike and Kayak Swap!

Outdoor enthusiasts are preparing for the highly anticipated 2024 Bike & Kayak Swap, set to take place this Saturday at Lakeview Arena in Marquette. This annual event, organized by the Superiorland Ski Club, has something for everyone, including bikes, kayaks, canoes, wheels, paddles, and more.

Swappers have the opportunity to drop off their used equipment between 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. on the event day. The sale kicks off promptly at 10:45 a.m. for Club members, while non-members can start shopping at 11:00 a.m. The sale concludes at 12:30 p.m., followed by the opportunity for sellers to collect their earnings and any unsold items between 1:00 and 1:30 p.m. Buyers should note that credit cards are not accepted and are advised to come with cash or checks.

When an item sells, Superiorland Ski Club will get 10% to 20% of the sale price, depending on the price, which will go towards Superiorland Ski Club Youth Programs.

For those with questions, the Bike & Kayak Swap will have knowledgeable coaches, athletes, and bike shop personnel on hand to assist with sizing and other inquiries.

For more information on the Bike and Kayak swap, how to become a seller, or how to become a Superiorland Ski Club member, check out superiorlandskiclub.com.
