Tonight on What’s UP with Megan – it’s time to prepare for Ore Dock Brewing Company’s 11th annual Angry Bear!
As the icy grip of winter loosens its hold on Lake Superior’s shores, the vibrant community of Marquette is gearing up for its annual celebration of spring with the return of the Festival of the Angry Bear.
Taking place on April 13th, beginning at 3:00 p.m. outside of Ore Dock Brewing Company, the event promises a day filled with food, music, and of course, plenty of barrel-aged beer.
Drawing inspiration from beer festivals in Europe, Angry Bear transforms Spring Street into the biggest block party in Marquette.
While Angry Bear itself is an adults-only affair, the festivities extend beyond just beer and music. In the lead-up to the main event, Ore Dock Brewing Co. hosts a series of family-friendly activities including Baby Bear, the Angry Bear 5K run, and even a flower crown workshop.
