MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – NMU’s Innovation Week started today, which aims to bring a network of community leaders and organizations together to connect and share products or ideas. At Marquette’s Rippling River Resort today, the Crown Fire Tent product was presented by the inventor and local artist Earl Senchuk.
The year-round tent is just in the demo phase, supported by three poles in the center giving enough space to fit up to 15 people. The inventor said there’s already an abundance of camping gear that’s only seasonal, and the goal of this tent is to bring more comfort when enjoying the outside all year round.
“And of course, you can decorate around this thing you can build around it they’re gonna be putting it out there permanently it’s a nice looking tent I’ve heard the word elegant and a number of times and I love that word you can have your own little private parties it can be pouring down rain it doesn’t matter at all and so it’s very flexible,” commented the Inventor Earl Senchuk. Senchuk mentioned the tents’ size will be 18 feet tall and the chimney at any point can withstand up to 1000 degrees Fahrenheit.
