MARQUETTE, Mich, (WZMQ) – Forsberg Flowers just got things up and running in its new location just over a week ago, and just in time for Valentines Day.
Though still settling in, Forsberg’s Creative Director Sarah Balding said they are seeing plenty of Valentines business, and lots of community support.
She also said though flowers are always popular, there has also been a lot of popularity with longer lasting gifts.
“This year a lot of popularity is in plants,” said Balding. “We’ve had a lot of people coming in with blooming plants, green plants, that kind of stuff has been wonderful. And then, more higher style vases. Their putting more into the vases, something that she would like to have for later.”
Balding said she is excited to start shifting focus over to spring planting in the next couple months.
