NEGAUNEE, Mich, (WZMQ) – Gravedoni’s Pizzaria opened its doors in the former Teal Lake Pizzeria building in December, and it’s been a popular destination since then.
The owner Vince Gravedoni said the wait times sometimes get over an hour long.
Gravedoni said the community support has been amazing and he hopes the fresh handmade style will keep people coming back.
“I buy like a 20-pound wheel of parmesan and we grate it all with a commercial grater,” said Gravedoni, “so it’s fresh parmesan Romano cheese. Just things like that, trying to do the little things right, and do it homemade, make it unique, and just make it good.”
If you want to visit Gravedoni’s yourself they are open Tuesday through Saturday 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
