Visit Keweenaw hosts its inaugural Chook Drop to ring in 2024 this Sunday, Dec. 31. Join Visit Keweenaw on the Houghton Waterfront Pier starting at 11:30 p.m. for music and a countdown to the New Year with a classic “chook” dropping from the Portage Lake District Library flagpole.
