KEWEENAW, Mich, (WZMQ) – Keweenaw County sees some of the most snowfall in Michigan, and this year you can win some prizes if you can guess how much snow Keweenaw county will get.
Visit Keweenaw is celebrating the snowfall with a guessing contest, which is online and open to anyone.
The closest guess to the season snowfall total without going over wins free Keweenaw merchandise.
Snow totals will be provides at the end of the season by the Keweenaw County Road Comission.
Visit Keweenaw’s Events Coordinator Jesse Wiederhold said it’s important to be grateful for our snow and make the most of the season.
“It really seems like there’s a trend in people realizing the value and what we have up here for snow,” said Wiederhold, “It’s a guarantee and that’s not everywhere, you hear what’s happening down state so it’s really special that we still get it.”
All guesses must be submitted by December 15th.
