Republican U.S. Senate Candidate Dr. Sherry O’Donnell spoke to supporters in Marquette today.
The event was organized and hosted by the Upper Peninsula Republican Women’s Club.
Tonight Dr. O’Donnell spoke about issues including Education, 2nd Amendment Rights, and U.S. foreign policy, but her primary focus was border security.
Despite being from lower Michigan, O’Donnell says the U.P is just as important to her campaign.
“The people of the UP are important,” Said O’Donnell, “I know that often times the Yoopers think that they’re ignored and neglected, they’re not. They will be my future constituents as well and it’s important that I hear their voice so that I can be the voice of we the people.”
Dr. O’Donnell plans to make more stops in the U.P in the coming weeks.
