MARQUETTE, Mich, (WZMQ) – Creatives from all over the Upper Peninsula and beyond got together in Marquette’s Masonic building for a weekend of networking and collaboration.
The 4th annual Revolve Creative Conference featured keynote speakers and presenters covering all things creative from watercolor painting, to bonsai trees.
The Conference also included a performance from Marquette Fringe which was open to the public.
Revolve’s executive director Keith Ellis said the conference is about more than just presentation.
“People who would have otherwise never met get a chance to talk and find common ground and find interesting angels that they can talk about,” said Ellis, “that is the magic of this conference.”
This year conference organizers said they were very optimistic about the turn out.
“This year we actually broke our ticket count for the highest count of tickets we’ve sold,” said Revolve’s Director of Media Ashley Saari, “We are really excited about that.”
Revolve Creative Conference continues tomorrow at 9 a.m. and ends at 6:30 p.m.
