ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – October 27 – 28, an annual Escanaba event is bringing out the witch or wizard in kids and adults alike.

“A Night of Magic and Wizardry,” presented by sponsor Highline, transforms the entire Bonifas Arts Center into an enchanted castle.

Attendees will be sorted into different houses at the Wolfsbane School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. There will be 15 unique rooms to explore, featuring scavenger hunts, potion and fortune-telling classes, trivia, and a shop where students can purchase wands.

According to event director Mariah Lee, “A Night of Magic and Wizardry” is one of the biggest fundraisers for the Bonifas Arts Center each year. Funds raised will also support the Players de Noc, who bring the magic to life.

“We have 23 actors that come and interact and engage with people,” Lee said. “It’s just a really fun event at Halloween time for the whole family to come and just be transformed to a magical world.”

“A Night of Magic and Wizardry” will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on October 27 and from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on October 28.

Tickets are limited and only available online. The cost to register is $18 for those ages 12 and over and $12 for children 11 and younger. Click here to purchase tickets.
