Karen Dionne, author of the internationally best-selling novel “The Marsh King’s Daughter,” talks about her inspiration behind the story set in the Upper Peninsula, why she likes to write novels based in the U.P., and how her novel became one of the lucky few in the world that are optioned for a movie.
