MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Blues Fest is coming around the corner and another show is happening that’s always attracting music lovers in the UP. The 10th annual Vinyl Record show is back, upstairs at the Ore Dock Brewing Company. Every night from Thursday through Monday, the community can flip through decades-old vinyl records, CDs, and cassette tapes.
With around 130 vinyl records per box, the community is sure to enjoy its fair share of oldies, classic rock, and many more genres of music that the organizers say they’re always thrilled to share the media that is music.
“I happen to really like records now you can see behind me, there are boxes and boxes and thousands of records. If we’re gonna talk about music aba to zaba I don’t care A-Z we are here to talk about music,” commented the Vinyl Candyman Geoff Walker.
On Sunday, they’ll be showing a surprise movie and later that night the Vinyl show will host a trivia night.
