MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A hat maker brought his craft to the Wednesday night farmers market for the first time this week. Swirl Haggard’s Ope Rope Emporium showcased its homemade cowboy-style hats Wednesday afternoon.
The owner of the hat shop, Dennis Clowers known as “Bud”, started making homemade hats during the pandemic and has been perfecting the craft for only 9 months.
“It’s a very new thing for me so it’s a lot of trial and error lot of constant learning experiences and most hats don’t fit me I kind of noticed them coming back in style the cowboy hat country music and Yellowstone becoming very popular it’s just kind of coming back into style,” commented Owner Dennis Clowers.
Swirl Haggard’s Ope Rope Emporium will be returning to the Wednesday market in two weeks.
