MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – This is home, where we support local artisans and creators and small business owners. Tonight was another Wednesday farmers market in downtown Marquette, and we are putting the spotlight on Full Plate Farm.
The farm, located in Skandia is women owned and operated, it provides a variety of fresh and organically grown vegetables like carrots, peas, lettuce, and radishes.
Full plate Farm supplies the Marquette Food Co-op as well as the lakeshore depot. but if your vegetable lover Full Plate offers a subscription service
“You buy into the farm so you are providing some financial support for us right off the bat and then you receive a weekly installment of vegetables depending on the installment you select,” said Full Plate Farm owner Laura Brosius.
