MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – It was a hot and humid weekend for bikers at trail fest in Marquette.
Hundreds of athletes from around the country gathered at Marquette Mountain to hit the trails and compete in 14 different events. There were both men and women as well as youth participating in different divisions. Riders enjoyed the beautiful weather Saturday morning but the rain that followed was welcome.
“I’m feeling dehydrated out here today, but it’s a good race, gotta get some more water in me, fuel up, for the second half of the day,” remarked Mac Clayton, a rider competing in open enduro.
Trails fest will wrap up Sunday with the final awards being given out at 4 p.m.
