MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Marquette City Band officially began its 2023 season tonight with a concert on Presque Isle.
The band is composed of Marquette musicians of all ages. Concerts are played Thursday nights throughout the summer.
Most concerts are held at the Presque Isle bandshell but occasionally take place at other locations around Marquette.
“Its a good way to get out with my girlfriend and support a friend,” said Lucas Mayo, a man who was attending a Marquette City Band concert for the first time.
