NEGAUNEE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A “Stronger than Cancer” event will take place at the VFW Post in Negaunee in an effort to raise money for a Negaunee woman battling a large B-cell lymphoma.
Chelsea Sicotte has been battling Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma since March of 2023. Chelsea’s sister Ashley Price organized this event in an effort to raise funds for lodging, travel, medical bills, and any other expenses they may face during this time.
There have been several donations already to the benefit dinner including the 50/50 raffles, the dinners being served, and even the live music by The Day Dreamers were all donated to assist the family working through this journey.
“Everything we’re going through with my sister and this experience has just been breathtaking and literally leaves you speechless at the amount of support that has come forward it’s just it’s been really really just phenomenal,” commented Sister Ashley Price.
