MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Last week we learned about MARESA’s Transition Program for students with disabilities to further their life skills after senior high school.
With most students counting the days down to the end of school, these students are counting down the days to their plant sale, one of many products these students sell to help fund their end of year trip, and this year that trip is to Mackinac Island.
Noah, checking in on the plants told us, “Plants are so cool, you can use the basil in your garden, you can you know all that stuff, you know and it’s so cool how all the plants grow in your garden, you know you take it home and oh it’s really so nice.”
Plant sale dates are tentatively set for May 25th, 26th and the 30th and we will update this story with specific times when made available.
To purchase one of many products these students have made by hand, please visit MARESA’s offices located at 321 E Ohio St. in Marquette.
