WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Friday April 21, the Supreme Court is set to make it’s first major abortion-related decision since overturning Roe v. Wade last summer.
Justices are supposed to decide whether to grant the Biden administration’s request to maintain the FDA’s approval of the pill, Mifepristone. A couple of weeks ago a Texas judge invalidated the FDA’s approval of that pill, which is commonly used for abortions. The Supreme Court has until midnight on April 21, 2023 to decide how to move forward with this request. This is the first time our highest court will see an abortion-related case since they overturned Roe v. Wade last summer which legalized abortions nationwide.
