MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Marshfield Clinic partnered with Marquette Internal Medicine and Pediatric Associates, keeping quality healthcare close by. The new clinic is hoping to offer not just improved service for the current patients but also bring in visiting specialists for the community as well.
“There have been gaps in care for years here,” said President of Marshfield Clinic Marquette Center John Bartlett, M.D. The partnership opens up more opportunities for the medical center to receive more funding for new avenues of care.
“Certain specialties like endocrinology and rheumatology have been very hard to come by and keeping a specialist here partnering with someone like Marshfield offers us an opportunity to have a visiting specialist from someplace like Marshfield to come here and see patients rather than our patients having to drive so far away,” continued Bartlett.
The partnership is going to be bringing radiology to the MIMPA practice and the officials at Marshfield Clinic are hoping to add even more services in the future.
