MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – On March 17th, the St. Patrick’s day celebration sparked another holiday for local bar and restaurant “DIGS”. It was the 6-year anniversary of DIGS opening for business. Serving the community with live local bands and festive U.P. food.
“It’s amazing that we made it six years most restaurants fail within their first year and to let alone make it past that was an awesome thing and we just build our business on if you give back to the community they’ll give back to you. They keep letting us throw parties and they keep showing up and that’s what we wanna do so we’re really excited about it and couldn’t be happier,” said DIGS owner Pat Digneit.
March 18th also sparks the bar’s first-ever party brunch, from 10 AM-3 PM, featuring a live DJ, corned beef hash, eggo waffle nachos, and everything else you need the morning after your St. Patricks Day celebration.
