MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A Marquette non-profit is searching for new leadership. The Marquette Women’s Center is accepting applications for a new executive director following the previous directors retirement in December.
The Marquette Women’s center works to provide services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, and is the oldest agency in Michigan to do so.
The center is looking for someone with experience working at a non-profit to fill the role and continue to grow and elevate its operations.
Hanna Holma the current interim executive director with the center said “The Women’s Center has a super rich history in the community, and a lot of really strong leaders have come in and out of the agency. We really want somebody who’s going to be there to support the mission, and support what we’re doing day to day.”
